We constantly hear about how mobile computing has really taken off and surpassed the use of desktop computers. But the big question is: do we actually make the switch to mobile devices, or do we still keep a clunky desktop for the "important" stuff?

Man, these past few weeks, people have been fretting over whether or not their favourite programs and apps on the Mac will still work after upgrading to the Lion operating system. Apple user forums, and third-party discussion forums as well, were filled with discussions about this program and that program and whether it would still work.

Last year I made the switch to Wordpress by moving my main site to a self-hosted WP platform. I enjoyed the flexibility of customizing Wordpress sites, and also liked the hosting company. But the WP platform itself is slowly but surely driving me up the wall.
